The Cheetah GPS Mirror is a driver safety system that warns you with voice alerts when you are approaching accident blackspots, speed cameras and red light cameras.

The GPS Mirror only warns of locations that are stored in its memory so it does not give false alarms like a radar detector. It comes pre-loaded with the camera locations for your country from the Trinity Database and you can mark your own locations for personal reminders. You update it once a month by connecting it to your PC and downloading camera locations from this website. There are no subscription charges.

Use it either as a stand-alone GPS detector or as the central warning device for any of the high-end radar detectors and laser systems. The GPS Mirror is the first and only GPS camera detector in the world with Wireless Datalink Technology that enables it to relay alerts from standard radar detectors and laser devices. It is also the first GPS detector in the world to offer F.A.S.T. - False Alert Suppression Technology.

This new GPS camera detector is built into an elegant mirror unit that simply clips over your car's existing rear view mirror, keeping your dashboard and windscreen clutter free. The wide angle mirror helps to eliminate blind spots as well as letting you keep an eye on traffic and any kids in the back seat, at the same time. The NIGHTblue anti-glare coating provides better night vision than most auto-dimming mirrors.

Advanced warning of dangerous intersections and accident zones

Advanced warning of accident blackspots and high risk zones can help you stay focused and can greatly enhance road safety. Your GPS Mirror gives out visual, spoken and audible safety alerts to notify you of approaching cameras or hazards in your direction of travel, giving you time to refocus, concentrate and plan ahead. There are 8 different GPS advisory safety warnings and 10 different camera warnings. Voice alerts identify the hazard type, and the digital display gives you a distance countdown to the hazard's location.

Covers all types of safety cameras

Your GPS Mirror's memory can store up to 120,000 locations. It contains the GPS
co-ordinates of the dangerous intersections and roads with accident histories where red-light or speed cameras are used. It alerts you to all types of Fixed Speed Cameras, Red Light Cameras and Average Speed cameras (GATSO, Truvelo, SPECS, Traffiphot, Redspeed, Redflex, ACS, ATS, Nestor, etc) as well as other known accident blackspots and common mobile speed trap sites. The warnings for common mobile sites can be turned off and you can even store your own personal warning locations.

Helps you to become more aware of your speed

The GPS speedo accurately displays your current speed from behind the mirror glass. Advisory speed limits when you approaching a camera let you easily compare your own speed to the posted speed limit at that location. There is also a useful Overspeed reminder which reminds you when ever you drive faster than your chosen settings.

Helps eliminate blind spots and improve night vision

One of the first things you notice about the GPS Mirror is that it's slightly larger than most factory mirrors, partially for cosmetic reasons but mostly for safety purposes. Works at home or abroad and it's completely legal

The on-board Trinity database currently covers the USA, UK, Spain, France and
Norway. The rest of Europe, Scandinavia and Australia are actively being logged
and will be available later in 2007. There are no ongoing cost, subscription charges or download fees. Camera updates are done through the internet and your PC using a USB and an RS232 serial port.

The GPS Mirror uses the latest SiRF star III chipset so you know it's going to be reliable, even in tricky urban canyon conditions where other systems may falter. There is a useful driving compass display with an audio heading announcement feature. "Rescue Me" coordinates can be heard at the touch of a button. There's even a handy clock display option.

Mobile Radar Datalink
The Cheetah GPS Mirror is the only GPS detector in the world which can wirelessly integrate with, and enhance, a wide range of the best radar detectors from various manufacturers including Valentine, Escort and Beltronics..

If you want to integrate your radar detector with the GPS Mirror (i.e. you want to hear radar speed trap alerts through your mirror ad use the GPS settings to get rid of false alarms, etc) you need to purchase a Cheetah Radar Detector Interface to plug into your detector.

F.A.S.T - False Alert Suppression Technology
Simple but incredibly effective at cutting out those annoying false alarms in town. Detector alerts are automatically muted below your programmed Alert Speed, e.g. 35 mph.

Voice alerts and audio tones
Voice announcements tell you the band that is being picked up by your radar detector and alert tones convey the signal strength.

Band Control
Disable unwanted radar bands if they are not used in your area.

City Mute
In city mute mode, the GPS Mirror only plays voice alerts for radar alerts. The normal alert tones are disabled.

Mobile Laser Datalink
The Cheetah GPS Mirror is also the only GPS detector in the world which wirelessly integrate with all the best laser devices on the market including Blinder and Lidatek laser diffusers. The GPS Mirror also integrates with the Target LT400 garage door opener and the Laser Pro Park parking sensor.

If you want to integrate your laser system with the GPS mirror, you need to purchase a Cheetah Laser Interface to plug into your laser device.
