Warns of active Radar operated speedtraps and also active laser operated speedtraps usually located in accident blackspot areas giving increased safety at the critical places.

The unique and discreet design of The Cheetah speed trap detector means you don't need to remove it at the end of each journey. There are two integrated expanding clips which fit over most sizes and shapes of rear view mirror, leaving your dashboard and sun visors clear.

Simple to fit and totally user friendly, This device provides an invaluable 'sixth sense' guide to staying within the speed limit and keeping your licence clean. The Cheetah speed trap detector gives advance warning of fixed and mobile GATSO cameras up to 400 metres away and hand held radar or laser guns up to 1/2 mile. The superior quality panoramic mirror gives enhanced rear view vision with greatly reduced blind spots. It is specially treated with an anti-glare tint to ease driving at night.

Each function is switched on or off by one dedicated button, making The Cheetah extremely easy to use.

Audio tones and LED lights will instantly tell you the unit's current settings.

The Cheetah detector housing is shaped to provide the optimum sensor position for maximum detector efficiency. Our current model is suitable for right hand drive vehicles. We are developing a left hand drive model for use across Europe and this will be shown on our website when it's available.

Looking from the driver's seat, the radar detection sensor is on the right hand side for Right Hand Drive models, so that The Cheetah overlaps the existing mirror on the correct side. For Left Hand Drive models, the radar detection sensor will be on the left hand side.

The Cheetah speed trap detector also comes with a 2 year repair or exchange warranty as standard.

Simple to fit and easy to use, The Cheetah will provide an invaluable sixth sense guide to adhering to the speed limit and keeping your licence clean.

Its use is not a licence to speed, and used correctly, the Cheetah will help to make you a better and safer driver.

If your car is fitted with an auto-dimming rear view mirror, this will be obscured. However, The Cheetah mirror has an effective anti-glare tint and the panoramic wide angle view will help to eliminate rear blind spots.

Check your windscreen type

NOTE Detectors installed in vehicles fitted with heat reflective, solar or heat insulating windscreens will give a reduced warning distance due to the screens metallic content. Vehicles fitted with standard heated front windscreens, i.e. Ford models with Quickclear windscreens, are unaffected.

If you have one of the following vehicles, please check with your dealer whether the windscreen is athermic, heat reflective or heat insulating. If your windscreen is athermic, this will affect the performance of all radar and GPS detectors, but dont worry, because solutions are available!
