Novus Eye Plus

There are hundreds of vehicle collisions everyday. Sometimes the cause is obvious, but other times it is not. Drivers often get into a blame game and the accident investigators are left to sort out who is at fault. Novus Eye, Driver Recording System records what happened in the critical seconds before, during and after an accident.

The video record generated provides irrefutable evidence

As a type of Black Box for vehicles, the Novus Eye Series of products record driving status and when an accident occurs, it saves the recording data from before and after the accident as a video and audio file onto an SD memory card.

When you remove the SD card and plug it into the computer, you can then simply analyse how the accident occurred with the Road Eye software.

Built-in G-force sensor and impact sensor
Novus Eye Plus has G-force sensor and impact sensor and saves information on the shock applied to the vehicle during driving.

Full Time Driving Record
Novus Eye Plus will support recordings of up to 145 hours successively based on 16Gb capacity SD card.

A/V Support
The video file recorded and saved onto SD Card could be played through any visual device, like a navigation system, TV or PC.

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Function Camera
The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function of a camera is intended to provide clear images even under back-light circumstances where intensity of illumination can vary excessively. The WDR allows a camera to filter the intense back-light surrounding a subject and thus enhances the ability to distinguish features and shapes on the subject. With traditional CMOS camera technology when a vehicle leaves a tunnel, you will see the background washed out during day time. The Novus Eye Plus uses a WDR Function Camera and solves this issue.

Road Eye Software
When you remove the SD Card and plug it into the computer you can then simply analyse how the accident occurred with the Road Eye software. This software will allow you to watch back the event, collecting vital information about your speed and location. A built in Google Map will show you the journey on the road while on playback and will allow you to find your exact location.
