Wireless helmet alert

Speed trap alerts are transmitted from the detector head of diffuser to a wireless, battery powered receiver on your helmet. This stylish and unique helmet warning system for radar detectors and laser protection system displays exactly the alerts you need, discreetly in your peripheral vision. Vizalert can be used with all helmet type; full face, open face or flip face.

Alternatively, if you prefer, the LED display can be mounted on the bike next to your display dials.

Radar Detector and laser protection alerts

Vizalert is the only visor alert system which can wirelessly display detailed alerts from radar detectors and laser protection, making it the only complete mobile speed trap alert system for your bike. Another world first from Cheetah!

Alert type and signal strength

Vizalert is the only visor alert system which identifies both the radar band and signal strength to help you correctly interpret and use the information. Different colour's represent different radar bands while the flash rate increases the closer you are to the signal source.

World beating performance for our types of cameras

Using the same technology as our award winning Sentinel system for cars, the Vizalert 300's radar detector head has the best detection range in the world for UK and Irish camera frequencies. It gives other radar detector and also detects laser.

Advance warning is typically around 300m when approaching a Gatso camera from behind, depending on the location of the camera. Some cameras will register as far as 600m or more. Approaching a camera from the front, the signal is stronger, so there is up to 800m advance warning. Mobile GATSO's will generate similar warnings, while hand held devices like radar guns will produce even greater warning distances.

Concealed & discreet

The weatherproof detector head can easily be concealed under your fairing. Once fitted, there is nothing noticeable to attract the attention of passers-by or opportunistic thieves.

No difficult hardwiring

The detector head is supplied with our unique automatic power supply unit, the POWERSENSEnode, which simply connects directly to the battery terminals and only turns your detector on when your engine is running. This means you do not have to do any difficult hardwiring and DIY installs can be easily done in minutes, rather than hours if you can wire a plug, you can fit this!

Installation tips

Where possible, and for best performance, your detector head should be mounted vertically (to the road surface) and the entire front window of the should have a clear line of sight to the road ahead.

If this is not possible, it is acceptable for the window to be partially cover or mounted horizontally. Completely obscuring the front window of the detector will reduce the warning distance of any radar device.

Your laser protection head should always be mounted horizontally and parallel to the road surface.
